Individual Therapy

Do difficult past experiences, life stress, or sleepless nights hold you back from your true potential? I offer a variety of scientifically-proven therapies. These therapies help people move past traumatic experiences, clarify and pursue a valued life direction, or get a good night’s rest. I work with my clients to customize an evidence-based plan to help them move forward, stress less, and sleep more soundly so they can be their best self. Therapeutic Approach and Specialties

First, I will conduct a diagnostic assessment of your symptoms, during which we will discuss your experiences and concerns. Then, we will discuss which treatments would be most likely to provide you relief. I offer several types of scientifically proven trauma therapy via telehealth/online. I offer DBT-Prolonged Exposure Therapy (DBT-PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in individual therapy, and Written Exposure Therapy (WET), as well as several transdiagnostic treatments (see below).

First, I conduct a diagnostic assessment of your sleep problems, during which we will discuss your experiences and concerns. Then, we will discuss scientifically proven sleep treatments for insomnia (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) and nightmares (Imagery Rehearsal Therapy for Nightmares) via telehealth/online. If your sleep problem is not a good fit for insomnia or nightmare treatment, I will recommend other treatments or tell you how to pursue additional evaluation with another professional.

First, I will conduct a diagnostic assessment of your symptoms, during which we will discuss your experiences and concerns. Then, we will discuss which scientifically proven therapy is the best fit for your symptoms. I offer treatments that can provide relief of symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, interpersonal problems, life dissatisfaction, trouble with low motivation, and low self-esteem via telehealth/online. The transdiagnostic treatments (treatments and skills that can help with a range of difficulties) I offer include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Individual therapy is available online in 43 US states and DC (exceptions are Alaska, California, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Vermont).
